The Cornerstone Company, established in 2003 with the vision of becoming the premier design-build contractor for commercial and light industrial structures in the Charleston market. Our enduring motto, “Building to Make a Difference”, reflects our mission and commitment to excellence. Over the years, we’ve successfully delivered a diverse portfolio of projects including retail, veterinary, dental, medical, church, office, self-storage, and warehouse buildings.

We are licensed as both unlimited commercial general contractors and construction managers with the State of South Carolina.

Today, we continue building to make a difference as the preferred design-build commercial contractor in Charleston. We have developed a solid reputation as a trusted builder with a network of experienced and trusted subcontractors.

Our Leadership Team

Terry Weeks

President, Owner

Terry is originally from Columbia, SC and is a 1995 graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Construction Science and Management. He married his college sweetheart Allyson, a Charleston native, and they have lived in Charleston since 1999. Prior to starting The Cornerstone Company in 2003, he was a project manager for several large general contractors in the southeast and managed multiple large commercial and industrial projects including the Columbia Museum of Art and Boyd Plaza in Columbia, SC and the Cassique Clubhouse on Kiawah Island, SC.

Terry is an active member in the , a national organization that brings construction professionals together annually to share and to develop best industry practices.

Terry and his wife have three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, snow skiing, the beach, all things Clemson and the mountains.  Terry is an active leader in the Men’s Hike Ministry at Seacoast Church and a past president of the CBLA in Charleston.

Tyler Bowers

Director of Operations

Tyler is originally from Florence, SC and is a 1996 graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Civil Engineering. He has worked in the commercial construction industry for over 25 years and in the Charleston market for over 20 of those years in project management. Tyler is married and has four children. He enjoys spending time with his family at the beach, the lake, the mountains, at Clemson, or anywhere else they can spend time together.

Tyler successfully balances the detailed nature of project management responsibilities along with the overall day to day management of all construction operations.

Bo Reeves

Owner

Bo, a retired physician, graduated from Wofford College and MUSC. He entered the construction industry as a business partner when he and Terry founded The Cornerstone Company of Charleston in 2003.

He and his wife, Alyce, have two adult children and six grandchildren. Bo is an active member of Cathedral of Praise Church, where he and his wife have led a marriage ministry for 23 years.

Bo enjoys snow skiing, working out at CrossFit, and hanging out at the beach as much as possible. Bo’s passions are family, personal integrity, and encouraging others.
